The QA Technician III at IGT is responsible for auditing and reviewing documentation, processes, and procedures for conformance to ISO 9000 standards, coordinating campus equipment calibration cycles, and verifying quality workmanship standards on various components and assemblies. - Verifies quality workmanship standards on various components and assemblies, including the verification of bills of materials (BOMs).
- Reviews and investigates nonconforming material from various sources, documenting and resolving any issues across global locations.
- Evaluates and communicates any non-conformances to the relevant personnel and management, detailing the issues on designated forms and within the SAP system.
- Analyzes data to aid in making long-term procedural decisions, including reviewing department-owned practices, policies, and procedures.
- Handles rejected/nonconforming material transactions in SAP, assessing severity and determining part disposition, impacting production schedules.
- Understands manufacturing techniques, parts, materials, and Quality fundamentals like zero-defects and LEAN principles.
- Uses measuring tools/gauges and small hand tools accurately.
- Familiarity with basic Quality & Manufacturing principles and terminology, Microsoft Office skills including Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook, and the ability to read schematics to check parts for conformity and research ISO clauses for accurate compliance.
- Primary objectives include auditing, incoming inspection, reviewing, and investigating materials made to IGT specifications.
- Drives the resolution and prevention of non-conforming materials throughout IGT and its strategic suppliers.
- Strong communication and writing skills required. Proficiency in SAP, Enovia, and Microsoft applications (Word, Excel) essential.
- Must thrive in a fast-paced, efficient work environment. Ability to work independently and collaborate with multiple teams is essential.
- Basic and fundamental knowledge in electronics and the ability to read Engineering blueprints, specifications, and electronic schematics are required.

- 2+ Years in a Manufacturing environment.
- 2+ Years in a Quality Assurance environment.
