  • Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
  • Accurately document patient information, care plans, and responses to treatment in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring that the needs and preferences of patients and their families are respected and met.

Join our dynamic team as a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN, where you'll play a vital role in delivering compassionate and evidence-based care to patients requiring close monitoring and treatment in a step-down unit.

Position: Travel Registered Nurse - PCU
Location: Knoxville, Tennessee
Schedule: Day (3x12) 7:00 19:00 & Night (3x12 Hours) 19;00-7:00
Duration: 13-Week Contract
Unit: PCU

What You'll Do:
As a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN), you will be responsible for managing the care of patients who are transitioning from intensive care to a less intensive setting, as well as those requiring more monitoring than a general medical-surgical unit can provide. You will utilize your critical thinking and clinical skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
