Scott Humphrey Corporation is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee general construction operations of ground up construction projects valued at $10M to $50M+. Responsibilities

  • Interface with local jurisdiction inspectors and city and county officials.
  • Enforce jobsite safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings.
  • Create enduring relationships with clients, architects, and vendors to understand future planning and support the ongoing growth of the company.
  • Organize and lead handoff meetings, manage the design and pre-construction phases of negotiated or GMP projects, and develop a master schedule of activities for these projects.
  • Oversee project startup and scheduling through to completion, identify and apply cost and time-saving measures, organize and lead weekly project team and client meetings, and participate in schedule logic reviews, mid-project evaluations, and other necessary meetings to ensure project success.
  • Establish and maintain QA/QC processes with the superintendent, including checklists, QCL, and punch lists.
  • Collaborate effectively with the project team, maintain open communication regarding project status, and address any issues that arise on site with all relevant parties such as owners, architects, project managers, crews, government agencies, and inspectors.
  • Handle daily project operations, continuously update and analyze the project schedule, and prepare two-week look-ahead schedules based on the overall job schedule or an accelerated timeline for all parties involved.
  • Manage the timely project closeout, including addressing the Owner/Architect punch list, monitoring the eleven-month walkthrough with the client, and conducting post-mortem meetings.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with all project stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum of 5-6 years as a Project Manager / Engineer overseeing ground up, new construction multi family projects.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, Microsoft project.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of Oracle Primavera, Bluebeam and/or other related software
