The Lead Security Technician at Loyal Source Government Services will have a strong technical background and is skilled in the installation, testing, termination, and maintenance of electronic security systems devices, access control devices, Intrusion Detection, Perimeter Fencing, Automated Gate, and CCTV systems at commercial and/or government facilities. This role requires leadership and supervisory skills, the ability to manage labor, material, and perform administrative functions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead both small and large groups of other technicians.
  • Organize project communications, deliverables, and workflow.
  • Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor project schedule and milestones and provide progress updates as needed.
  • Attend internal and external project meetings both in person and virtually.
  • Create or provide information for Load sheets if not provided.
  • Create or provide information for as-built plans and/or red line drawings.
  • Perform panel connections and terminations.
  • Proficient in Plan Grid and other construction related software.

Qualifications

Required

  • Proven ability to lead both small and large groups of other technicians.
  • Proven ability to effectively organize project communications, deliverables, and workflow.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with MS office suite and other software suites applicable to the role including MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, Bluebeam.
  • High level of technical skill as it pertains to the division through high level industry/manufacturer certifications (e.g., Bosch, Genetech).
  • OSHA 10 required.
  • Advanced troubleshooting abilities.

Preferred

  • OSHA 30 preferred.

Full Job Description

This position will have a strong technical background and is skilled in the most current installation, testing, termination, and maintenance procedures for electronic security systems devices, access control devices, Intrusion Detection, Perimeter Fencing, Automated Gate, and CCTV systems at commercial and/or government facilities. This position must possess leadership and supervisory skills, and the ability to manage labor, material, and perform administrative functions is essential.


Pay: Starting at $30-35/hr


Requirements

· Proven ability to lead both small and large groups of other technicians.

· Proven ability to effectively organize project communications, deliverables, and workflow.

o Organization of all project communication and documentation produced during project.

o Organization and documentation of all project material and deliverables created as part of the project.

o Organization and monitoring of project milestones to assist in proper schedule management.

· Proven ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

o Communication with PM on manpower and material needs

o Communication with clients/customers

o Communication with other trades on jobsite

o Ability to monitor project schedule and milestones and provide progress updates as needed.

o Attendance of internal and external project meetings both in person and virtually

· Familiarity with MS office suite and other software suites applicable to the role including but not limited to:

o MS Excel

o MS Outlook

o MS Word

o Bluebeam

· High level of technical skill as it pertains to the division through high level industry/manufacturer certifications.

o Bosch

o Etc.
