- Performs a variety of laboratory techniques and utilizes analytic instrumentation, such as next genetic sequencing, real time PCR, extraction, and fragment analysis.
- Adheres to Clinical Laboratory regulations including CAP, CLIA, state and other regulatory agencies.
- Practices the proficient and safe use of all equipment necessary for the completion of all duties and responsibilities by following all maintenance, operation, safety and quality controls policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Required
- 2-4 years of experience working in a CLIA-certified focusing on molecular pathology lab, using Next Generation Sequencing and other molecular techniques.
- Experience as a medical lab scientist / medical technologist.
