The Corporate Procurement Manager at Mauser Packaging Solutions plays a crucial role in supporting the global procurement function for the Small Pack Business. Responsibilities

  • Work with SIOP Team to understand plants’ needs in SAP, create PO’s for mill orders for all Small Pack plants & supplier email validation.
  • Ensure PO accuracy to match daily shippers from mills to receive into the system & verify plants received in all coils for reporting.
  • Work with SIOP Team on Safety Stock Levels & ensure plans to keep stock levels at those required volumes.
  • RFQ preparation & analysis for General Line, Specialty & Pail Suppliers.
  • Work closely with Service Centers for any cut sheets, slit metal or metal shortages as part of procurement process to ensure no supply gaps.
  • Prepare internal management reporting and analysis to support operational leadership for decision making when placing orders, ending inventory levels, incoming receipts & demand review.
  • Work with the global Procurement and SBU operations teams, develop useful accurate, meaningful, and streamlined reporting to highlight KPI’s for the business.
  • Help with budgets and forecasts.
  • Collect, consolidate and analyze monthly financial and inflation data.
  • Review/validate data for accuracy and consistency and work with necessary teams to improve accuracy and reliability of data.
  • Provide support to help the team achieve the Mauser EIP goals.
  • Help with supplier set-ups & validation, as needed.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting recommended, not required
  • 3+ years of experience with data analysis and a manufacturing background is preferred
  • Outstanding Excel, modeling and PowerPoint skills required
  • Experience with SAP mandatory
  • Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task efficiently and take ownership with projects
  • Detail oriented, with high level of ethics and integrity

Preferred

  • Oracle Hyperion, Microsoft Access database, Power BI considered a plus

Full Job Description

The Manager, Raw Materials Corporate Procurement plays a vital role in supporting the global procurement function for our Small Pack Business. Involvement will include Raw Material purchases of steel coils & sheets, Purchase Order (PO) placement, Item-level pricing updates, inbound metal tracking, supplier management, internal management reporting of coils & sheets, key performance metric tracking (On-Time Deliveries, Demand Accuracy & Quality) and working closely with Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) Team to understand customers’ needs. This role reports directly into the Vice President of Global Sourcing, North America and is a key business partner working with our SIOP Team, Plant & Corporate Quality Team as well as Operations Team.
