Maintenance - Chicopee ( Quality Beverage)

Position Overview:

Keeping a clean environment in the warehouse.

Key Accountabilities:

• Emptying trash receptacles daily.
• Minor vehicle repairs.
• Vehicle washing.
• Snow removal.
• General housekeeping, including sweeping and operating floor scrubber.
• Collaborating with vendors.
• Loading and unloading of maintenance supplies.
• Must be able to climb a ladder occasionally.
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to demonstrate effective use of safety rules.
• Must be able to stand on concrete surface for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be able to work in tight spaces, kneel, climb and squat consistently.
• Ability to operate a snowblower and plow during freezing weather.
• Ability to lift cases averaging 50 lbs.
• Must be able to articulate problems and negotiate the most efficient resolution.
• Forklift experience a plus, but not necessary

Education/Training/Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Basic computer experience or knowledge a plus
• Must be able to read and speak the English language
