Qualifications

Required

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing and or marketing operations
  • 5+ years of management experience
  • Experience with enterprise marketing automation platforms (Eloqua) and CRM systems (Salesforce)
  • Strong attention to detail, organized, and able to facilitate and operationalize team processes
  • Proven ability to manage a high-performing team
  • Strong organizational leadership skills

The Job/What You'll Do:The Director, Marketing Operations is responsible for overseeing all marketing processes, technologies, workflows, budgets, and talent priorities. Reporting directly to the CMO, this role is tasked with optimizing overall team efficiency and effectiveness. Working collaboratively across the marketing and communications organization and across the firm, the Director of Marketing Operations will be central in executing the marketing and communications strategy for AssetMark. This role is also monitors, measures, and analyzes the effectiveness of all marketing and communication initiatives and programs. We can consider candidates for this position who are able to accommodate a hybrid work schedule and are close to our Concord, CA office.Responsibilities: Define the marketing operations vision and strategy that enables informed decisions through precise analysis to drive an efficient and scaled marketing and communication team. Lead the marketing team's planning, budgeting, and forecasting and manage marketing automation systems through collaboration with the marketing and communications leadership team. Own the marketing operations roadmap, ensuring marketing technology is evaluated, selected, implemented, and customized to meet the needs of our organization. Establishes and maintains scalable processes that provide best practices in lead and campaign management Define key marketing metrics and manage the process of packaging these insights into reports and dashboards to assess the overall performance of the marketing and communications efforts. Drive marketing database strategies, analyze business data gaps, client acquisition strategies, and data quality practices. Ensuring compliance with FINRA, SEC, and other regulatory bodies Manage marketing vendor relationships, budget, contracts, and approvals Work with the CMO on talent initiatives to help support, develop, and attract talent. Proven experience with change management and organizational transformation Demonstrated experience designing an innovative marketing and communications technology stack Education & Experience:10+ years of experience in marketing and or marketing operations Strong attention to detail, organized, and able to facilitate and operationalize team processes Proven ability to manage a high-performing team encompassing a variety of functions 5+ years of management experience Compensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between $130,000-$190,000. This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered.
