- Working with Scaled Agile methodology
- Adding regression test cases (Karate) for up-to-date testing
- API testing using Postman
- Troubleshooting and logical thinking with Splunk logs
- Using Jenkins for orchestration
- Basic knowledge of Kafka
Qualifications
Required
- Understanding of Microservices and Cloud basics
- Knowledge of Karate frameworks for regression testing
- Behavior Driven Development knowledge
- Familiarity with Cucumber frameworks
- Functional testing skills
- Experience with Scaled Agile methodology
- Ability to read and interpret Splunk logs
- Basic knowledge of Kafka

12 months contract
Role:
- Software Engineer who will be testing (QA Testing is primary function)
- Must understand Microservices which are deployed into PCF
- Want an understanding of Cloud basics (any public cloud)
- There won’t be any hands-on coding unless the employee wants to
- Karate frameworks used for Regression testing.
- Behavior Driven Development knowledge is a must
- Cucumber frameworks used
- This QA will do functional testing
- Team uses Scaled Agile. QA steps in after coding is done and Unit Testing has complete.
- Regression test cases (Karate) are being added to stay up to date
- RESTful knowledge is helpful (Postman used for API testing)
- QA will look at Splunk logs to determine if issues are data or coding related (troubleshooting and logical thinking)
- CI/CD – Jenkins used for orchestration tool
- Basic knowledge of Kafka is good to have.
- Performance Testing is not required. Will be entirely doing Regression and Functional Testing.
