This healthcare organizations procurement department is split between three categories: strategic sourcing, procurement operations, and category management. The Senior Procurement Specialist will be working within category management. They will own promotional products, uniforms, travel, entertainment, IT, and mobile devices, marketing, HR, and resident engagement contracts. They will perform market testing and category assessments, looking at the market vs. current state to determine whether there is an opportunity and then sourcing. The will be internal from day 1 facing the business. They are managing the relationship between the supplier and stakeholder, solving any problems along the way.
