As a Project Manager at Nexus Solutions, you will serve as the primary contact for clients during the construction phase of a project, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and within scope.   • Identify and support development opportunities for growth and improvement of team

Qualifications

Required

  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the building systems / operations field
  • Strong understanding of scheduling and risk management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to translate technical jargon and project related information to meet client needs
  • Demonstrated success in problem solving and delivering innovative solutions
  • Proven ability to operate with integrity and empathy, and build trust-based relationships
  • Self-directed and highly organized in approach to work
  • Able to hold self and others accountable to drive projects forward
  • Strong computer skills with competency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Bluebeam
  • Experience reading and interpreting plans and specifications
  • Demonstrated knowledge of codes and contract law
  • General accounting knowledge and capacity
  • Able to travel approximately 30-50% of the time and accommodate flexible scheduling

Preferred

  • Certification such as OSHA and CCM
  • Safety training
  • Procore proficiency
  • Experience working with K-12 facilities, programs, and priorities
