Qualifications
Required
- All states require cosmetologists and other personal grooming specialists like barbers and hairdressers to have a license backed by a 9-month diploma or associate degree from a state-accredited or licensed cosmetology school after finishing secondary school.
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar capacity is an advantage.
- Performs work under minimal supervision.
- Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.
- Ability to work continuously all day long
- A pleasing and pleasant personality
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have excellent interpersonal and people management skills
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal relationships with the clients
