Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, store, and secure all supplies and materials when delivered.
- Maintain all receive inventory in an organized and efficient manner.
- Assign and account for all materials issued to work crews on a daily basis.
- Maintain a "shelf stock" of parts, tools, and any other job required supplies.
- Conduct a complete physical inventory each month to account for all materials stored, received, and issued from the warehouse and yard.
- Maintain material usage logs/spreadsheets to comply with customer's usage and tracking systems.
- Assist in the management, maintenance, and upkeep of fleet tools and equipment assigned to the project.
- Work in all temperatures, climates, and weather conditions.
- Pick up or deliver material using a company vehicle
Qualifications
Required
- 1-3 years minimum experience within the Underground Utility Construction Industry (training provided for the right applicant)
- Experience in working through all types of weather, including inclement weather
- Ability to lift and/or pull 75 pounds several times each day
- At least 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license with a minimum of 2 years driving experience
- Willingness to work in a solo and team environment
- Self-starter
- Effective communication skills
- Experience with operating a forklift
- Authorized to work in the United States for this company
