Delivery Helper | JPAX Logistics (an amazonXL partner)

JPAX Logistics Inc (JPAX) is a regional leader in last mile transportation and logistics. We are seeking dedicated customer service professionals to join the JPAX team for an exciting growth opportunity available in Hagerstown, MD. Come build your future with JPAX!

As a Delivery Helper, you will be a delivery hero in the neighborhoods you serve - delivering smiles to customers every day in the form of critical supplies, household goods, toys and so much more. Delivery Helpers will ride in an Amazon-branded, DOT-regulated vehicle, delivering packages to customers. Delivery Helpers ride alongside the driver and assist with the delivery of heavy and bulky items (more than 70 lbs.). You can expect to work 4-5 days per week and up to 10 hours per day. We operate 6 days a week, so flexibility to work Saturday, is required.

We are a 6 day a week operation.

*** We only hire helpers with open/flexible availability to work any day of the week, to include Saturday (you will not be scheduled to work every day). Start time for this position is mid-morning (9am). ***

Minimum Requirements:

• SAFETY 1st mentality! – protect yourself, others, and company assets

• Be at least 18 years of age

• Valid driver's license or state ID card

• Be able to start early morning and work until route completion

• Read, write, and speak English

• Have good communication skills and ability to work well with others

• Able to operate handheld electronic delivery devices and navigate route using GPS guidance

• Able to lift heavy/bulky items weighing up to 500 lbs (team lift)

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Residential delivery experience

• Demonstrated independent problem solving and analytical skills

• Prior experience interacting with customers and public in a professional and positive manner
