The Inventory Control Analyst at Burlington Stores will be responsible for researching, problem solving, performing root cause analysis, and processing financial inventory adjustments impacting inventory for either the East Coast or West Coast Distribution Centers and Warehouses. The position supports various departments within the Supply Chain, including Finance, Buyers, Allocations and Planning, Transportation, DC Operations, and Burlington Stores nationwide.

Responsibilities

  • Develops a thorough knowledge of internal department and external operational SOP's and best practices
  • Ensure operational members are accurately following SOPs
  • Perform thorough audits and documents investigation methods and issues affecting inventory while performing root cause analysis
  • Communicate (written and/or verbal) recommendations and engage the appropriate levels of management in the Supply Chain to assist with the escalation of items needing immediate attention
  • Work with IT, POC, DC OPs, Finance and other work groups for assistance in research and problem solving
  • Analyze and report systemic and operational issues to prevent situations that could result in the loss of company assets in a timely manner
  • Ensure all key functions and reports, as assigned, related to inventory transactions are monitored consistently, accurately, and timely
  • Interacts confidently and accurately with all levels of management
  • Completes timely inventory adjustments as directed
  • Comply with the policies and procedures as defined in SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure)
  • Audits and conducts operational research in order to identify receiving errors and reduce shrink

Qualifications

Required

  • 2+ year Analyst, Inspection, Inventory Control or related distribution center / retail experience preferred
  • Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management System) and sortation system (Dematic) preferred
  • Experience or knowledge of SQL and PowerBi would be nice to have
  • Experience in a high volume Distribution environment preferred
  • Ability to travel to multiple facilities across multiple shifts as needed
  • MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

The **DC Inventory Control Analyst** willresearch, problem solve, perform root cause analysis, and process financial inventory adjustments impacting inventory for either the East Coast or West Coast Distribution Centers and Warehouses in addition to the Burlington Stores. This individual should provide a strong research skill set and problem solving ability while leveraging the skills and knowledge or other team members across the Supply Chain in a fast paced, dynamic environment. This position will support members of the Supply Chain, including but not limited to, Finance, Buyers, Allocations and Planning, Transportation, DC Operations and Burlington Stores nationwide.

**The Day in the Life**

**You Come With**

+ 2+ year Analyst, Inspection, Inventory Control or related distribution center / retail experience preferred

+ Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management System) and sortation system (Dematic) preferred.
