**Compensation: $41,600 - $47, 424 annually** **(based upon experience)**

As a Teacher Assistant you will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need.

**Shift:** Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm (52 week year round position)

**Every day as a Teacher Assistant you will....**

+ Ensure student safety

+ Assist in establishing classroom environments that is conducive to maximum learning by maintaining structure and guiding students to socially appropriate behaviors

+ Work with the Special Education Teachers to implement skill acquisition and behavioral reduction programs individually and in small groups

**Qualifications**

**EDUCATION:** Bachelor's degree required; Bachelor's degree in Special Education preferred.

**EXPERIENCE:** Experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and/or behavior disorders preferred.
