Bakery Manager at Crema Coffee + Bakery

Crema is seeking a new leader for our BOH team to bring our bakery to the next level.

This new position will involve every department in the bakery to support the baking staff, maintain standards, create new products, and improve our general operations. The job involves managing operations as well as baking and production.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of bakery operations including production, food preparation, cooking, cleaning, and organization
• Maintain and improve the quality and consistency of all bakery products
• Manage bakery staff including training, delegation of duties, scheduling, and performance management
• Ordering of ingredients and supplies
• Maintain and improve standards of cleaning, health, and safety protocols
• Baking, cooking, producing great products
• Coordinate with cafe manager and staff to ensure product consistency and quality
• Develop and implement new menu items and improve upon existing products
• Promote a positive and productive work environment for all staff
• Work and cover in baking positions

Requirements

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Positive attitude and communication skills
• Professional baking and cooking experience
• Experience in pastry and bread baking and production
• Knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen operations.
• Communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Flexible availability

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $28.00 - $32.00/hour.
