The Driver - Receiving Clerk at Lincoln Electric is responsible for performing the required activities for local pickup and delivery, as well as supporting the Shipping/Receiving Department. Responsibilities

  • Drive the Fori Automation Stake truck (20-foot open Flatbed) and pickup truck for local collection and delivery needs.
  • Safely secure all cargo for transit on the truck using straps, chains or other means necessary. Tarp when needed.
  • Conduct routine inspection of vehicles before leaving Fori Automation.
  • Follow all Michigan driving laws.
  • Complete paperwork signage for each load.
  • Complete assignments in a timely fashion.
  • Support the department per Supervisors direction when not driving for Fori Automation.
  • Work overtime and/or weekend days as needed.
  • Proficient in the use of a fork truck and overhead crane.
  • Loads and unloads trailers for shipments.
  • Inspect all incoming material for damage and proper quantity against shippers.
  • Maintains clean and organized work area.
  • Prepare, stage, and load packages to be shipped.
  • Verify packing lists are correct to contents received.
  • Perform all required data entry for Shipping/Receiving functions.
  • Follow-up with Purchasing to inform them of late shipments or irregular shipments that may require their attention.
  • Use ERP system. Training will be administered.
  • Prepare any necessary paperwork relative to Shipping/Receiving activities.
  • Verify blanket order PO inventory is being replenished appropriately.
  • Work with Purchasing and Accounting on return for credit shipments.
  • Deliver items within Fori Automation to the appropriate location.
  • Must be proficient in using Email and phone.
  • Identify all incoming material.
  • Train other employees as required.
  • Perform all tasks as assigned by Department Supervisor or Manager.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma
  • 1 year in material handling capacity
  • Valid Michigan Chauffeurs license
  • Valid hi-lo license

DRIVER - RECEIVING CLERK

Job Summary

Performing the required activities for local pickup and delivery Driver. When not driving, perform the required activities within the Shipping/Receiving Department for Fori Automation.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Driver (Main role):

  • Responsible for completing paperwork signage for each load.
  • Must complete assignments in a timely fashion.
  • When not driving for Fori Automation, must fill work time by supporting the department per Supervisors direction.
  • Must be willing to work overtime and/or weekend days as needed.

Shipping and Receiving Clerk (Secondary role):

  • Proficient in the use of a fork truck and overhead crane.
  • Loads and unloads trailers for shipments.
  • Inspect all incoming material for damage and proper quantity against shippers.
  • Maintains clean and organized work area.
  • Prepare, stage, and load packages to be shipped.
