As a Machine Maintenance Technician at Staff Management | SMX, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, reliability, and longevity of machinery and equipment. Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled maintenance tasks on a variety of machines and equipment, according to maintenance schedules and guidelines
  • Replace or repair defective parts such as belts, bearings, motors, or sensors
  • Identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems or abnormalities in the machines
  • Collaborate with team members and team leads to analyze and resolve complex technical problems
  • Calibrate and align machinery to ensure optimal performance and accuracy
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when working with the machinery, as well as comply with industry regulations and standards to ensure equipment is operating within legal and safety parameters
  • Provide technical support to production teams to minimize operational disruptions

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years work related experience
  • Knowledge of computer systems and spreadsheets necessary to perform job duties
  • Knowledge of both high and low voltages AC & DC
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Preferred

  • 2 years of plumbing and electrical experience
  • Ability to communicate with project vendors/suppliers
  • Proven experience as a Machine Maintenance Technician or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting
