  • Define and measure performance through objectives and KPIs.
  • Evaluate and resolve capacity needs aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Ensure squad optimization through ongoing prioritization and evolution of the squad missions.
  • Inspect and evaluate progress and remove impediments to delivering value.
  • Support and encourage squad leaders in developing skills.
  • Work with Chapter Area and other Product Area Leaders to develop technology roadmaps.
  • Build mutual trust between Domain and Service & Delivery Operations.
  • Enable flexibility and innovation through mutual trust and visibility.
  • Promote a culture of experimentation that incentivizes associates to try new ways of working.

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of 10 years of meaningful experience leading multiple teams in agile framework.
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
  • Experience engaging with senior internal and external customers and partners.
  • Senior level experience defining strategic roadmaps and leading the development of solutions and offerings.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Senior level experience defining strategic roadmaps and owning the development of solutions and offerings.
  • Jira and Jira Align experience preferred.

PRODUCT AREA LEADER Associate Solutions

The Role

As the Associate Solution Product Area Leader, you blend deep financial services platforms and digital user experience expertise with a dedication to delivering customer value. You will define and evolve the product areas' vision, strategy and mission and ensure continued alignment and prioritization of work with other key initiatives. In an agile structure, you will partner with other Fidelity leaders to establish product area level strategic priorities based on an understanding of customer needs and enable execution of these priorities by the cross-functional squads aligned to your product area. You will support these squads as they improve value delivered through prioritization, creativity, innovation, collaboration, and decision making and encourage them to work iteratively, innovate through testing and experimentation and learn from failures while celebrating success.

  • Enabling an agile and frictionless organization by continuously demonstrating agile behaviors and align teams to expected outcomes

  • Proactively partnering with Domain, Product Area, Chapter Area/CoE, Squad and other leaders to:

  • understand the needs of customers and other partners

  • define, evolve and communicate strategic priorities, the product area vision and its mission, to execute the domain and broader business strategy and increase the value delivered to customers

  • define & measure performance through objectives and KPI s to define and deliver agreed upon business, financial, technology, and people results

  • evaluate and resolve capacity needs aligned with strategic priorities, making trade-offs where necessary

  • ensure squad optimization through ongoing prioritization and evolution of the squad missions

  • inspect and evaluate progress and remove impediments to delivering value

  • Supporting and encouraging squad leaders to build appropriate learning opportunities to develop skills

  • Working with Chapter Area and other Product Area Leaders to develop technology roadmaps, to drive consistency in use of platforms and APIs, to minimize redundancy and manage IT

  • Build mutual trust between Domain and Service & Delivery Operations; set expectations early and often

  • Enable flexibility and innovation through mutual trust and visibility

  • Encourage and display collaborative behaviors

  • Promote a culture of experimentation that incentivizes associates to try new ways of working

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Minimum of 10 years of meaningful experience leading multiple teams in agile framework

The Associate Solutions Product Area Leader manages a team of squad leaders and will work in partnership with these leaders, other Product Area Leaders and Chapter Area Leaders aligned to the product area.
