  • Strategize and execute a smooth transition from Windows 10 to 11, including understanding of compatibility, application testing and user adoption.
  • Collaborate with security and networking teams to implement, maintain, and remediate computer and network security issues.
  • Package and deploy a diverse range of applications, creating deployment rules and ensuring successful software distribution.
  • Provide clear documentation for continuity, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer.
  • Review, recommend, design, test and deploy Group Policy Objects.
  • Administer Microsoft Intune for iOS devices and Windows computers.
  • Install and configure software packages in a virtual desktop environment (VDI).
  • Mentor help desk technicians and share knowledge to improve overall support quality.
  • Recommend and implement technologies and processes that improve the effectiveness of desktop engineering and automation processes.
  • Adhere to change and incident management processes related to the production environment.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field.
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience providing mid to high level tiered support.
  • Proficient in administrative and package creation.
  • Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM), Intune, Active Directory, and GPO management.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft 365 architecture, configuration, implementation, migration and support.
  • Ability to manage projects and tasks independently.
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • US Citizenship required.

Preferred

  • Experience with Intune, JAMF, Patch My PC, Liquidware, or VMware Horizon.
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems.
  • Security+, Net+ and Microsoft or related certificates.

We are seeking a creative go-to person to join our team. As a Systems Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our Windows and iOS infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include design, implementation, system administration, imaging creation, application packaging and deployment and migration of Windows 11.

This is an onsite position in our Baltimore, MD office

  • Windows Expertise: Be able to troubleshoot and support Windows 10 and 11 workstations, software and SCCM (MECM) related issues.
  • Migration: Ability to strategize and execute a smooth transition from Windows 10 to 11. Understanding of compatibility, application testing and user adoption (documentation and training).
  • Security: Collaborate with our security and networking teams to implement, maintain, and remediate computer and network security issues.
  • Application Packaging: Package and deploy a diverse range of applications. Creating deployment rules, and ensuring successful software distribution
  • Documentation: Provide clear documentation to ensure continuity, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer.
  • GPO Management: Review, recommend, design, test and deploy Group Policy Objects.
  • Intune Innovator: Administer Microsoft Intune for iOS devices and Windows computers.
  • Desktop Virtualization: Installing and configuring software packages in a virtual desktop environment (VDI).
  • Mentor: Mentoring help desk technicians, knowledge sharing and improve overall support quality.
  • Transformer: Recommends and implements technologies and processes that improve the effectiveness of desktop engineering and automation processes.
  • Compliance: Adheres to change and incident management processes as it relates to the modification of the production environment to remediate and/or optimize enterprise systems.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in information technology or related desired.
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience providing mid to high level tiered support.
  • Proficient in administrative and package creation. Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM), Intune, Active Directory, and GPO management.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft 365 architecture, configuration, implementation, migration and support (Teams, OneDrive, Exchange, SharePoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Experience with Intune, JAMF, Patch My PC, Liquidware, or VMware Horizon considered a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems.
  • Ability to manage projects and tasks independently, provide transparency on activities conducted, and have a bigger picture focus on entire teams' mission
  • Prior relevant certifications with additional years of experience will be considered in leu a degree.
  • Security+, Net+ and Microsoft or related certificates a plus
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs
  • Applicant must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
