The Front Desk Agent at Shaner Corporation is responsible for providing superior guest services, including check-in and check-out, processing payments, and providing information and services to guests and visitors.   • Process all payments according to established hotel requirements.
  • Provide information and services to any guest or visitor in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Process all check-ins and check-outs according to established hotel requirements.
  • Adhere to payment, cash handling and credit policies/procedures.
  • Generate, print, and distribute daily reports to designated departments/personnel.
  • Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year customer service experience.
  • Previous hotel experience preferred.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
  • Computer experience preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
  • Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
