The Laborer at WESN Enterprise is responsible for installing, repairing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and performing testing activities on various cable equipment and other low voltage equipment. Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
  • Expected availability during standard business hours and occasional evening and weekend work.
  • Must work 37.5 hours each week to maintain full-time status.
  • OSHA requires 5 hours of job specific training (provided and paid for by the company).

Preferred

  • Experience in a similar role.

Technician

· May have to maneuver around small areas such as attics, crawl hatches, etc, for cabling.

Physical Demands

The physical requirements described here are what an employee will typically experience on a day-to-day basis. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop/squat, kneel, crouch or crawl through small, enclosed spaces. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Other Considerations for employment:

Full-time position. Expected availability during standard business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and must work 37.5 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as occasional job duties demand. ***OSHA requires 5 hours of job specific training (provided and paid for this time)***

Travel

As projects open/close in various locations across the state, you will be expected to be able to travel to the new sites. Extended stays are frequent.

Required Education and Experience
