Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills.
  • Well organized, detail oriented.
  • Familiarity with office computer programs.
  • Ability to manipulate small hand tools and assemble small mechanical parts.
  • Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
  • Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach within hands and arm’s length, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision requirements include close vision and color vision.

Preferred

  • Small parts assembly experience.
  • Medical device or other regulated industry experience.
  • Cleanroom experience.

Full Job Description

Production Tech/Assembler (2nd shift)

  • $20hr – payrate - MAX
  • Located – Bedford, MA
  • No commuter rail - requires personal transportation to Bedford. Plenty of parking (free)
  • This is a full-time temporary position with potential to convert to full-time employee.
  • 2nd shift position (1:30 -9:30 pm)


5 production lines in a clean room. Will do whatever is avail – handles, staples, etc.

Ship out for sterilization. Tools can vary based on the line they are on. Small hand assembly. A bunch of machines they built in house for the reload staplers. Did some caliper work.

Med Device and assembling are ideal background. Shark Ninja, etc.
