The Quality Assurance Supervisor at Nissha Metallizing Solutions is responsible for training, influencing, and supporting the local organization to ensure regulatory compliance, operational efficiencies, and targeted results are met. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee the routine of the QMS (Quality Management System), prepare documents to implement and maintain the QMS.
  • Keep management informed through performance and development of reports and KPI's management.
  • Ensure that the quality system is established, effective and maintained in accordance with ISO 9001.
  • Designs, implement, and document procedures for process control, process improvement, testing, and inspection.
  • Oversee calibration and testing program.
  • Lead internal quality audits
  • Perform root cause analysis and other problem-solving techniques to identify effective corrective actions and process improvements.
  • Prepare documents and information necessary for critical analysis and responses to internal and external non-conformities of customers and suppliers.
  • Provide technical assistance to the customer to solve technical problems.
  • Coordinate and administer the Integrated 5S Program.
  • Administer integrated management performance index / KPI's.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Engineering, Quality Management, or Business Administration.
  • 3-5 years relevant working experience within a manufacturing quality or regulatory team in a supervisory role.
  • Experience managing an ISO & FSC standard
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate and complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Knowledge of Office365 Suite preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Lean – Six Sigma training or certification is a plus
  • Auditing certification is a plus
  • Working experience in a packaging or food and beverage industry is a plus

Position Summary


The Quality Assurance Supervisor will train, influence, and support the local organization to ensure regulatory compliance, operational efficiencies, and targeted results are met. The Quality Assurance Supervisor responds to internal and external non-conformities of customers and suppliers, with the aim of achieving the highest level of customer satisfaction, process improvement and upholding the Quality Policy.
