  • Stay informed about industry regulations and quality standards to ensure process aligns with applicable requirements.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3 years of inspection experience in metal fabrication environment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use a variety of precision measuring instruments
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership by serving as an example to others
  • Proficiency with GD&T and CMM
  • Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with staff and customers
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team
  • Basic Knowledge of quality concepts and control along with understanding of production processes and procedures

Preferred

  • Associate degree or higher
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

LDI, Inc is looking to add a Quality Technician to its Huntley, IL team. This position will be a full-time onsite role helping support the quality needs of the LDI team.


LDI has been a leading manufacturer of hydraulic components and lubrication equipment to the OEM and MRO markets for over 50 years.


Position Overview:

Ensure that products meet established quality standards and specifications. Perform inspections, tests, and audits to identify defects or deviations from quality standards using various tools and equipment to measure and analyze product dimensions and characteristics.


Essential Responsibilities:
