Warehouse Sanitation Site Manager

We are looking for a Sanitation Manager to join our team and be part of something great. We have an outstanding career opportunity for a driven, successful Sanitation Manager with 2-5 years of increasing management responsibility in the distribution/transportation fields. This position offers a competitive salary, bonus potential and a benefit package after 30 days.

JOB SUMMARY:

• Oversee warehouse sanitation associates
• General janitorial and housekeeping duties within warehouse and administrative offices
• 1-2 years Microsoft experience, excel immediate preferred
• 1-2 year P&L experience preferred

Interact with customers (client customer and common carrier representatives) to ensure superior levels of customer service

• Maintains a safe work environment at all times
• Supervises the day-to-day operation of assigned work groups to ensure that all customer and Capstone Logistics requirements are met and implemented effectively
• Assigns tasks to associates in a fair and equitable manner

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 1-2 years of management / leadership experience in an industrial setting
• Proven experience in providing high levels of customer service to internal and external customers.
• Ability to train, coach, and mentor warehouse associates
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong organization and prioritizing skills
• Ability to simultaneously perform multiple tasks
• Ability to solve problems and make effective decisions in a fast paced environment
• Understanding of sanitation and safety requirements within commercial and industrial environment
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment, withstanding constant changes in temperatures for long periods of time
• Self managed individual capable of assessing needs and taking appropriate action

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Standing and /or walking for extended periods of time in warehouse environment (concrete flooring and changing temperatures)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Handheld computer data entry.
• Ability to function in cold and hot weather environment.
• Ability to be certified to operate, as needed, manual or powered material handling equipment in a safe and productive manner.
  
  

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma
• Previous warehouse and/or housekeeping/sanitation experience a plus
