  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Must have effective and efficient time management skills, strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with diverse groups of people.

Preferred

  • Certification (CHPN) preferred.

Hospice RN/LPN Per Diem

What You Will Do

As a Hospice Per Diem Nurse, you will be responsible for completing hospice and palliative care visits in the home setting (which includes the community or agency setting) as assigned. These visits may include admission, routine, recertification, discharge and/or death visits. Follows the established plan of care to provide care, treatments, and education. Demonstrates knowledge and support of the philosophy, purpose, and goals of hospice care as well as those of McGregor and its policies.

PRN Obligation

  • Required to work a minimum of 2 shifts per month or take weekend call once a month.
  • Required to work one summer and one winter holiday.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduated of a state approved school of nursing.
