Responsibilities

  • Develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and propose technical solutions.
  • Write and maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting languages.
  • Design and implement integrations with third-party systems and tools using ServiceNow APIs and web services.
  • Perform unit testing, system testing, and debugging of ServiceNow applications to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
  • Stay updated on latest ServiceNow features, functionalities, and best practices, and apply them to enhance existing systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, testers, and solution architects, to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint retrospectives.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in production environments.

Qualifications

Required

  • Proficiency in ServiceNow platform development, including configuration, customization, and scripting.
  • Extensive experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
  • Strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM) processes and best practices.
  • Ability to design and implement complex workflows, business rules, and integrations within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Experience with ServiceNow APIs, data imports/exports, and system integrations.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow modules such as incident management, change management, and CMDB.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and debug issues.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in ServiceNow development or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

Preferred

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.

**Job Summary:**
