Dishwasher

**Job Overview:**

As a Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper at Del Webb Nocatee, you’ll be responsible for cleaning dishes in a food service environment to ensure that the kitchen has a steady supply of clean plates, bowls, silverware, pots, pans and glasses\. Their duties include prioritizing loads of different types of crockery and kitchenware, hand\-washing dishes, loading the dishwasher and placing dishes to dry\.

**Your Responsibilities:Â** Â

+ Operate industrial dishwasher\.
+ Wash glassware and other implements by hand when necessary\.
+ Empty and clean all trash receptacles
+ Rotate dishes to reduce wear and tear on resources\.
+ Clean dish storage\.
+ Follow sanitation policies at all times\.
+ Provide assistance to prep cook and other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak times
+ Perform opening, closing and side work assigned\.
+ Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately\.
+ Report any sanitation or janitorial issues to appropriate party\.
+ Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules\.
+ Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies\.

+ Ability to maintain positivity and diplomacy in a fast\-paced environment\.
+ Possess strong interpersonal skills and is able to interact and communicate successfully to the residents and team\.​Â
+ Must be able to clearly communicate with various types of communications\.

**Physical Requirements:**

+ Ability to work in various positions, including, but not limited to stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time, climbing stairs, navigating the property/building quickly and easily as required to meet the job function
+ Ability to lift 50 lbs following appropriate safety procedures\.
+ Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time;
+ Climb ladders and work at heights above ground level \(maximum 3ft\);
+ Handle, finger, grasp and feel objects and equipment;
+ Reach with hands and arms;
+ Repeat various motions with the wrists, hands and fingers;

**Schedule:Â** Wednesday \- Sunday, Hours Vary Â
