Responsibilities

  • Meet with healthcare business owners and decision-makers to understand their business needs and goals
  • Advise clients on our comprehensive product mix including digital, search, video and mobile solutions
  • Work with colleagues to design custom advertising and marketing solutions
  • Present solutions to clients, working collaboratively to achieve the product mix aligned to their goals
  • Further client relationships through retention and upselling
  • Review campaign results, learn from data and celebrate successes
  • Work with our advertising fulfillment team to ensure accurate information for each client campaign

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or related area
  • Healthcare or related industry experience preferred
  • Ability to build rapport and confidence with clients
  • Excellent communication skills for writing, creating and delivering presentations, and negotiating and closing sales
  • Self-motivation and resilience
  • Ability to effectively organize your day, multi-task and work under deadlines
  • Familiarity with CRM sales management software preferred
  • Solid skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Power Point & Excel

This is a remote work opportunity in the New York state.

Advance Media New York is offering an exciting and unique fellowship opportunity to pursue a paid online masters degree with **Syracuse University Newhouse School of Communications** while working in a dynamic environment where you can develop powerful marketing that drives positive change for our full-service marketing agency.

The base salary range is $51,000 to $53,000 per year. Additional incentives bring total potential compensation to $64,000 to $70,000.

This fellowship program provides the opportunity to gain practical digital advertising experience with Advance Media New York (AMNY) and syracuse.com as you work toward your communications masters degree. **The fellowship program will begin on or around January 8, 2025** , aligning with the start of Syracuse University's online academic term.

As an **Advance Advertising Fellow with AMNY** , youll be part of an innovative team culture in which you can contribute to the success of our ever-expanding agency, all while strengthening the communities we serve. **In your role with AMNY during the academic program, you will:**

+ Work with colleagues to design custom advertising and marketing solutions that fit your clients' needs

+ Meet with healthcare business owners and decision-makers to uncover and understand their business needs and goals so that you can advise clients on our comprehensive product mix including digital, search, video and mobile solutions

+ Present solutions to clients, working collaboratively to achieve the product mix aligned to their goals

+ Build client relationships through retention and growth strategies

+ Review campaign results, learn from data and celebrate your successes

+ Work with our advertising fulfillment team to ensure best in class service for all clients served

**For this position we're looking for candidates with:**

+ Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or related area

+ Healthcare or related industry experience preferred

+ Ability to build rapport and confidence with clients

+ Excellent communication skills - to write, create and deliver effective presentations and to win new clients

+ Self-motivation and resilience

+ Ability to effectively organize your day, multi-task by pivoting to various advertising activities to build your leads dashboard, work collaboratively to help the agency grow

+ Familiarity with CRM sales management software experience, preferred

+ Solid skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Power Point & Excel to create presentations and review data
