Qualifications

Required

  • BS or Pharm D College of Pharmacy
  • 3-5 years of retail pharmacy experience
  • 2 years of experience as Pharmacist In Charge
  • Current Texas Pharmacy license
  • Ability to operate computer terminal for processing prescriptions
  • Ability to communicate with Pharmacy Department personnel to delegate duties, inform about policies, train, assist with performance appraisals, and approve refunds/expense/returns.
  • Ability to accurately process prescriptions within the required amount of time.
  • Professional Appearance

Preferred

  • HMO and 3rd party managed care experience
  • BCLS certification
  • Immunization Certification
  • Pharmacy Preceptor Certification
  • Able to travel to multiple pharmacy locations

Performs all duties of a registered pharmacist including accurate dispensing and counseling of prescriptions to customers.
