The Facilities Coordinator at Ashby Ponds by Erickson Senior Living is responsible for coordinating the activities of the General Services Department for assigned neighborhoods, serving as a liaison between the General Services Department, residents, and staff. Responsibilities

  • Communicate/visit with each new resident in assigned neighborhoods to explain/clarify the operation of each department within General Services.
  • Investigate complaints, suggestions, and occurrences; initiate the proper response through the appropriate manager; follow up progress until conclusion.
  • Audit all buildings, garages, and general areas and coordinate needed repairs with the appropriate department. Supervises outside contractor's work.
  • Conduct random surveys on services recently performed for residents and other departments.
  • Monitor the status of work orders to ensure their completion in a timely manner.
  • Establish and maintain accessibility to all residents in assigned neighborhoods through high visibility and excellent verbal communication.
  • Provide an updated report of ongoing projects to the General Services Director/Manager weekly.
  • Attend all meetings necessary to maintain a high awareness of all activities occurring in the assigned neighborhoods.
  • Coordinate the re-occupancy of apartment homes in assigned neighborhoods while maintaining communication with marketing on the status of apartment turnover.
  • Ensure awareness of the move-in list with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure apartments are ready for new residents to move in.
  • Responsible for move-outs, which include communicating timelines and coordinating with residents and/or families as well as applicable community departments.
  • Coordinate and follow-up, and documentation of any and all apartment/building emergencies.
  • Perform additional duties requested by the General Services Director to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the Community.
  • The position will require rotating weekend on call schedule every 3 weeks.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ years' experience in an office environment or within a department with responsibility for facilities management.
  • 1-3 years of customer service experience is required.
  • Ability to function independently.
  • Ability to assess resident or other complaints and resolve disputes in a friendly and professional manner.

Ashby Ponds is a beautiful 132-acre continuing care retirement community in Loudoun County, Virginia. We're part of a growing network of communities developed and managed by Erickson Senior Living, a national provider of senior living and health care with campuses in 11 states-and growing.

We are hiring a **_Facilities Coordinator_** for our award-winning community. The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of activities of the General Services Department for assigned neighborhoods, serving as a liaison between General Services Department, residents, and staff.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:**

**What you will need:**

+ High school diploma or GED required.

**Physical Demands:**
