  • Work as part of a team and communicate in a respectful and professional manner.
  • Work necessary overtime based on staffing needs and customer demand, as well as across shifts.
  • Stand and work with hands throughout the duration of the shift.
  • Lift at least 25lbs.

Duties:

The shift lead position will support the team in daily tasks. The lead will spend most of the shift on the production floor assisting associates and working closely with the client operators and supervisors. Some tasks include conducting shift check-in's, working on the floor alongside your team, and enforcing GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), PPE/Safety rules and policies. The Lead will be expected to follow all Staff Management | SMX and client policies at all times and communicate with all supervisors.

Position Requirements:
  • Reliable and able to work within industry-standard Good Manufacturing Practices at all times (no artificial nails/eyelashes, nail polish, jewelry, etc. cannot be worn while producing and/or packaging food products).
  • Inspect product for quality and any signs of foreign material contamination.

  • Maintains works area in a clean and organized manner.
