Job Overview:

Hiring for The Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP)! REMOTE - Seasonal

Your Responsibilities:

  • Handle and carefully respond to all inbound and outbound customer inquiries
  • **You will be selling for multi-carriers
  • Provide excellent customer service through active listening
  • Work with confidential customer information and treat it sensitively

Important To Note:

  • This is a captive position (Definition: captive insurance agents are contracted to work for one insurance company and can only sell that company's policies)
  • This is a seasonal role with Teleperformance supporting GoHealth until 12/7.
  • A regular webcam is required for training. Post-training, the webcam will be required for manager meetings.
  • Agents will get certified in every carrier
  • You will be selling for multi-carriers

Location:

  • Work From Home
  • Nationwide ***(Not Including Alaska, California, Hawaii, Oregon, Washington DC, Washington, Illinois and North Carolina)

License (Required):

  • Active “Health Insurance License” (Must have their resident license in the state they are currently living in)
  • AHIP will be provided to the candidates in training (AHIP stands for America's Health Insurance Plans, a national trade organization created in 2013 by merging the American Association of Health Plans (AAHP) and the Health Insurance Association of America (HIAA).

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work full time. (40 hours a week, 5 days a week)
  • HOOPS: Mon -Fri 9 am -7 pm Central Time
  • Schedules are not expected to change and are fairly stagnant
  • Schedules expected to be 8 ½ shifts, 30m lunch, 2x 15m breaks
  • Most volume comes in between 10:00A – 4:00P CST
  • Willing to work weekend shifts as needed as it may be required to work overtime on weekends during the peak weeks
  • Quiet & Professional Workplace
  • 18 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable internet connection (Must meet a minimum of 20 downloads, 5 uploads)
  • Basic Computer Knowledge/Skills (candidates will need to complete a computer literacy test as part of our application process)
  • Pre-employment screening requirements
  • Social Security verification

Type:

  • Direct Hire for Seasonal position ending on 12/7/24!

Paid Training:

  • 3 weeks long in duration. Times (Will verify).
  • Agents will get certified in every carrier

Pay:

  • $22.00/hr set pay rate
  • Plus bonus according to enrollments and performance and adherence to the assigned schedule. (To Be Confirmed). Paid at the end of the season - will be discussed in our virtual Town Hall meetings

Hours of Operation:

  • Monday - Friday 7am - 7pm CST
  • Need to be willing to work weekend shifts as needed as it may be required to work overtime on weekends during the peak weeks
