The Director of Health Information Management (HIM) at Universal Health Services is responsible for directing the activities of the Health Information Management Department, focusing on the management and maintenance of all patient medical records information.   • Direct experience in a health care psychiatric facility preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of medical records coding and medical terminology.

Preferred

  • Certification accreditation as a medical record professional, Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).
