Apple Vision Pro is a revolutionary spatial computer that seamlessly blends digital content with your physical space. It will allow us to do the things we love in ways never before possible — all while staying connected to the people around us.DescriptionApple is seeking a highly motivated, energetic System Tools Engineer to develop and maintain the software tools needed to deliver amazing products only Apple could imagine and more importantly deliver! Your role within the Systems Engineering Team is to build and maintain unique software tools as a full stack engineer. These tools are needed to model Apple’s systems, bring up new hardware, facilitate experiments that define product features and requirements, and perform simulations that inform product architecture and requirements.

To be successful in our team, you should have three key attributes:

- Flexible personality that enables you to balance many diverse projects at once. Being able to prioritize the most impactful work among the requests from across the programs while maintaining the longer-term project goals.
- Breadth of engineering skills and experience. The team is a collection of talented engineers from across EE, ME, and SW disciplines, and you’ll need to communicate effectively with everyone to help deliver projects holistically.
- Organized and detail oriented to be successful when working with complex systems.Minimum QualificationsBS in electrical engineering, computer science or computer engineering2+ years of work in a related fieldStrong verbal communication skills to collaborate with varying disciplines across organizationsExcellent written skills for clear reporting of data, analysis and conclusionsAbility to develop solutions using Python, Javascript, Matlab or C/C++Preferred QualificationsAble to bring up new hardware and prototypes with embedded SWDeep knowledge in a variety of software tooling solutions for web development, containerization, hardware control, systems modeling and publishing.Pay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
