TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER II, MANUFACTURING OPERATIONS AND DELIVERY, TECHNICAL INFRASTRUCTURE

Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 2 years of experience in program management.Experience in manufacturing operations and leading a product through the product life-cycle.Preferred qualifications:Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Operations Engineering, or a similar field.2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.Experience in Design and Manufacturing in a new product introduction role.Experience with manufacturing, supply chain management, or fulfillment planning and execution.Knowledge about typical hardware Bill of Materials (BOMs), process documentation, assembly, test processes and hardware operations. The team's mission is to accelerate the Delivery of Data Center Equipment for Google Cloud with scale by leveraging Manufacturing Operations knowledge to launch, ramp, and sustain products though the Equipment Supply Chain.Behind everything our users see online is the architecture built by the Technical Infrastructure team to keep it running. Responsibilities Drive cross-functional teams to optimize the supply chain for specific reasons, while accounting for risks, changes in schedule, or demand.Manage ramp readiness with internal teams as well as external partners (e.g., material availability, cost, assembly, test, capacity readiness, and transition plans).Plan and execute operations development activities and ensure transition to production within cost, quality, and capacity parameters.Lead cross-functional Program teams within Google and with external partners to prepare for production ramp or product transitions.
