You will be part of a talented team of engineers with a shared mission to make data easily accessible.What You Will Be DoingSolve challenging problems that arise in providing an interactive experience on data warehouses for data exploration and analysis.Build with modern tools and languages like Rust, Go, GraphQL, and KubernetesBuild infrastructure to support a modern cloud applicationDevelop new algorithms and techniques for improving the performance and interactivity of our multi-tenant cloud applicationDesign and implement new technologies and features to support our fast growing user baseCollaborate with cross-functional groups - backend, frontend, design, product, customer support, sales and marketing to build an innovative productQualifications We NeedStrong Computer Science fundamentals5+ years industry experience building and maintaining high-quality softwareExperience building and deploying robust and secure web APIsDesire to be a great teammate and have fun at workStrong sense of craftsmanship, and a healthy academic curiosityQualifications We Want (also, skills you’ll learn!)Experience building systems for data analyticsDistributed systems monitoring and profiling skillsKnowledge of cloud application security modelsSQL query optimization and database internalsAdministered cloud service infrastructure (GCP, AWS)Startup experienceAdditional Job detailsThe base salary range for this position is $180k - $220k annually.Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work at Sigma Computing. This role is eligible for stock options, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.Note: The world around us is changing, but we at Sigma Computing are growing and scaling.
