Qualifications

Required

  • M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical or osteopathic school
  • Completion of the third year of a psychiatric residency training program approved by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
  • Valid license to practice medicine issued by the State of California
  • Current Controlled Substance Registration certificate issued by the Drug Enforcement Administration
  • Ability to travel to various locations within and outside the City of Berkeley to meet program needs and fulfill job responsibilities
  • Must maintain a valid California driver's license and a satisfactory driving record when driving on City business
