Responsibilities

  • Execute all routine unit operations in Purification independently

  • Perform cleaning and setup of equipment
  • Conduct in-process testing, including cell counting, spectrophotometry, and environmental monitoring
  • Monitor and control critical parameters such as weights, flows, volumes, temperatures, pressure, and pH
  • Identify and report any issues related to manufacturing performance, process, and safety
  • Assist in the investigation of deviations to facilitate continuous process improvement
  • Train junior staff on various unit operations, including bioreactors, cell separation, chromatography, tangential flow theory, and CIP/SIP operations
  • Collaborate with the team and department to follow best practices and achieve departmental goals
  • Report issues related to manufacturing performance, process, and safety to the manager to ensure compliance with regulations, adherence to cGMPs, and support for continuous process improvement

Qualifications

Required

  • Associate's degree
  • At least 1 year of closely related technical experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical or chemicals manufacturing environment
  • Experience with established GMP procedures and bulk manufacturing is a plus
  • Technical knowledge of manufacturing systems, methods, and procedures
  • Understanding of purification and cell culture processes
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with equipment and processes

_Our client is a global, research-driven pharmaceutical focusing on treatment options for diseases and conditions for which there is no satisfactory treatment option to date. The company is looking for a Manufacturing Technician to join the team._
