Export Associate

The Export Associate is responsible for supporting the logistics and export operations. This includes coordinating shipments, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, preparing export documentation, and collaborating with various departments to ensure smooth and efficient export processes.

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Process, validate export shipping documentation complying with US Customs regulations on operational system connect with U.S. Customs platform. File 7512.

+ Prepare export documents (SLI, invoice, packing list, etc.)

+ Maintain accurate records and files of all export transactions

+ Work closely with freight forwarders to gather missing export bills of ladings

+ Ensure documents are accurate and comply with applicable laws and regulations

+ Request proof of delivery (POD) for shipments confirming that goods were delivered to the intended recipient in good condition at a specific time and location.

+ Collect data and prepare reports for imports and exports

+ Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.

**Core Qualifications**

+ Bilingual (English and Spanish)

+ College Degree (in-progress accepted)

+ 1-3 years experience in the export industry (a plus)

+ Strong organizational and time management skills

+ Excellent communication and customer service skills

+ Detail-oriented with a strong ability to multitask

+ Must have analytical and problem-solving skills

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

+ Knowledge of export software, SAP (a plus)
