Responsibilities

  • Maintain, install, and troubleshoot a variety of process equipment systems, including pumps, agitators, heat exchangers, tanks, reactors, piping systems, valves, and more.
  • Ensure smooth operation of process equipment by performing preventive and predictive maintenance, following diagrams, manuals, and engineering specs.
  • Monitor, repair, maintain, and document all field mechanical equipment, including plant safety and power systems.
  • Determine dimensional changes in parts by inspecting and measuring used parts with precision tools like callipers, micrometres, and other instruments.
  • Keep all work areas clean and orderly upon job completion, ensuring all work orders are properly completed and closed out in the CMMS system.
  • Adhere to all GMA Safe and GMP requirements while executing tasks.
  • Attend educational workshops, review technical publications, and build personal networks to maintain and expand technical expertise.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Over 10 years of mechanical maintenance experience in dynamic environments like chemical, food, and pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Special focus on rotating equipment
  • Reliability maintenance techniques and technical/mechanical school training

Preferred

  • GMP Proficiency: Proven experience working in a GMP environment

A Facilities Coordinator will be interacting not only with internal customers but also external vendors providing services to the facilities. Facilities Coordinator responsibilites ensures the plant is properly maintained, completes work orders using CMMS, and ensuring preventative maintenance is performed along with a host of other duties and responsibilities.

Your key responsibilities- Responsible for communication, satisfaction, and financial performance to ensure facility service levels meet or exceed contract scope, terms, and conditions

- Acts as primary liaison with service providers, actively ensuring that service is prompt, responsive/effective, and that inter- departmental concerns are addressed and resolved- Presents status and/or performance reports as necessary to keep management aware of atypical occurrences, unusual outside vendor challenges, potential building related interruptions, etc- Administers internal software program to facilitate vendor payments and complies with and enforces corporate policies (personnel, accounting, technical service, safety and health, ethical conduct, etc.) communicates these policies to contractors, visitors, etc- Schedules and coordinates over-all work building maintenance priorities with the assistance of the local reliability engineer- Oversees the day-to-day work of service contracts (e.g. janitorial, landscaping, fire monitoring, etc.) and reviews completed work by outside facility service contractors regularly and ensure that quality standards are met or exceeded

You bring- High School Diploma or equivalent - Two years of experience in a chemical plant environment with experience in facility coordination- Must have CMMS and vendor management experience- Working knowledge of two or more of the mechanical, electrical, general building maintenances, building construction or electronics crafts- Well-versed in facilities management best practices - Comprehensive computer skills in Microsoft Office and Excel, and an aptitude to learn computer applications
