The Maintenance Mechanic at The Coca-Cola Company is responsible for performing skilled maintenance and repairs services of facility systems such as mechanical, electrical, and building systems. Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and provide immediate preventative and corrective maintenance support to production lines and facilitate change-over.
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Overhaul and install new equipment.
- Rebuild and fabricate parts.
- Perform facility maintenance and maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Generate parts request to ensure adequate inventory.
- Generate and complete work orders as assigned.
- Perform equipment change-overs and production line set ups.
- Actively participate as a self-directed and committed member of a team.
- Carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures, and laws.
- Troubleshoot or perform necessary repairs to maintain the operation of equipment and systems.
- Install machinery and equipment as required.
- Develop PM / REPAIR tasks and enter them into SAP-PM database.
- Enter all work performed and parts used in SAP-PM database.
- Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery and facilities according to PM schedules.
- Audit plant equipment and participate in the process of ordering, inventory, and stocking of spare parts.
- Perform general maintenance including welding, basic electric, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Assist in training and coaching other associates.
Qualifications
Required
- Must pass the Ramsey Test for Maintenance Mechanic
- 1-5 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to follow manufacturer's specifications and schematics
Preferred
- Blow Molding experience
- Vocational certification
- 1+ years of mechanical/electrical experience
- Prior diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience
- Previous experience within high-speed industrial environment
- Programmable Logic Control (PLC) knowledge

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Troubleshoots or performs necessary repairs to maintain the operation of equipment and systems in the areas of responsibilities such as process and packaging equipment, warehouse, electrical distribution, compressed air, boiler room equipment, refrigeration, instrumentation, treated water and waste water treatment facilities.
+ Installs machinery and equipment as required.
+ Develops PM / REPAIR tasks and enters them into SAP-PM database.
+ Enters all work performed and parts used in SAP-PM database.
+ Performs preventative maintenance on production machinery and facilities according to PM schedules.
+ Actively audit plant equipment and participates in the process of ordering, inventory and stocking of spare parts.
