Responsibilities

  • Replace defective parts with new ones or fabricate replacements from various types of metal stock.
  • Assemble and test machinery to verify corrections.
  • Maintain and lubricate machine tools and equipment.
  • Replace faulty electrical components such as relays, switches, motors, and position sensing devices.
  • Diagnose and repair or replace faulty electronics, such as printed circuit boards.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is desirable.
  • Proficient in using a tape measure and a computer.
  • Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and interpret bar graphs.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings.
  • Ability to solve problems involving multiple concrete variables in standardized situations.
