  • Mentor and provide constructive feedback to team members to foster a culture of Continuous Improvement
  • Coordinate and execute projects, offering maintenance advice and support to other departments as needed

Qualifications

Required

  • 7-10 years of leadership experience in a maintenance-focused engineering role
  • Union manufacturing experience
  • Background in high-speed manufacturing and packaging within a dynamic production setting, particularly in the consumer goods sector
  • Demonstrated success in managing teams and enhancing employee skill levels
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to manage conflicts, make decisions, and guide organizational change
  • Solid knowledge of business operations, including budgeting, project planning, and compliance with labor agreements
  • Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
  • Experience in FDA (US Food & Drug Administration) facilities
