Qualifications
Required
- Master's degree in psychology, special education, or a related field.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS) in Pennsylvania (may be required depending on the setting).
- Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse needs.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Job Summary
A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is a mental health professional who applies behavior analysis principles to improve socially significant behaviors. This role involves conducting functional behavioral assessments, developing and implementing behavior intervention plans, training staff, and collaborating with families and caregivers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities -
Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs): Identify the function of challenging behaviors to develop effective intervention plans. -
Develop and Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs): Create individualized plans based on FBA results to address challenging behaviors and teach new skills. -
Provide ABA Therapy: Deliver direct ABA therapy services to clients, using evidence-based practices. -
Supervise Behavior Technicians (RBTs): Oversee the work of RBTs, ensuring adherence to treatment plans and ethical guidelines. -
