  • Lead the development of production line data collection systems to improve efficiency, financial reporting, and staffing plans.
  • Work with the Executive Team to complete annual budgets, ensuring CAPEX budgets align with strategic growth objectives.
  • Schedule production around demand forecasts and facilitate monthly S&OP processes.
  • Establish minimum, maximum, and safety stock targets.
  • Achieve annual cost savings goals.
  • Manage human capital at all manufacturing facilities to ensure adequate staffing and minimize overtime.
  • Provide performance management, mentorship, hiring, development, and training for retention.
  • Document and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing and operations, including maintenance protocols and equipment replacement plans.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 15+ years in manufacturing operations roles in a multi-plant environment, preferably in food and beverage manufacturing, waste management, or agricultural manufacturing.
  • Sigma or Lean Manufacturing experience is preferable.
  • Experience in standing up new facilities and production lines, including developing staffing plans.
  • Hands-on approach to gain perspective and insight.
  • Ability to work with a team to deliver results with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Champion and catalyst for new initiatives, able to work across different groups and bridge functional and divisional silos.
  • High EQ, capable of working with diverse personalities and managerial styles.
  • Ability to coach and scale the organization through rapid growth.

Company has expanded manufacturing and distribution into multiple states due to customer demand. Major big-box retailers and Fortune 1000 companies are customers. Capacity at each plant continues to increase as new capital equipment is onboarded, automation is embraced, and throughput and efficiencies improve. Facility and company level revenue/profit are at record highs. Company will be expanding headcount, adding new leadership roles to support scale, and looking at strategic acquisitions to support growth objectives.


SVP Operations


This role will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the company's operations across multiple states.
