  • Lead or participate in projects related to compliance initiatives and program in coordination with other Compliance team members located in Europe and Asia.
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time, in accordance with corporate guidelines/standards, and within budget.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the US ethics line, ensuring that it functions effectively and efficiently.
  • Conduct or oversee investigations into reported or detected compliance issues.
  • Develop and deliver training programs that focus on the elements of the compliance program and seek to ensure that all employees are knowledgeable of, and comply with, pertinent federal and state standards.
  • Draft and revise company policies and procedures to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.

Qualifications

Required

  • 4-7 years in compliance roles as manager or similar roles.
  • Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping.
  • Technical knowledge of privacy and AI regulations.
  • A business acumen partnered with a dedication to legality.
  • Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities.
  • An analytical mind able to “see” the complexities of procedures and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • BSc/BA in law, finance, business administration or related field from a US accredited institution

Preferred

  • Certification as a compliance professional or JD.
  • Spanish language proficiency.

The Compliance Manager ensures our business adheres to legal standards and internal policies. This role is crucial for maintaining our company’s legal and ethical standing, managing compliance-related projects, and fostering a culture of integrity and accountability. Zara USA, Inc. and other brands of the Inditex Group portfolio in the USA and Puerto Rico.

  • Ethics Line Management: Oversee the day-to-day operation of the US ethics line, ensuring that it functions effectively and efficiently.
  • Investigations: Conduct or oversee investigations into reported or detected compliance issues. Ensure that investigations are thorough and concluded promptly.
  • Training: Develop and deliver training programs that focus on the elements of the compliance program and seek to ensure that all employees are knowledgeable of, and comply with, pertinent federal and state standards.
  • Policy and Procedure Development: Draft and revise company policies and procedures to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct. Ensure that these documents are clear and accessible to all employees and follow the corporate standards.


Who you are


  • Between 4-7 years in compliance roles as manager or similar roles.
  • Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping.
  • Works well independently and with international teams as other Compliance team members are in Europe and Asia.
  • Technical knowledge of privacy and AI regulations.
  • A business acumen partnered with a dedication to legality.
  • Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities.
  • An analytical mind able to “see” the complexities of procedures and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
