Preferred

  • 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree.
  • One year relevant experience.

  • Schedule: 7am - 7pm, Day Shift, Full-time
  • Department: Progressive Cardiac Telemetry Unit
  • Location: Presbyterian Medical Center - Charlotte, NC

5A PCTU has a diverse and knowledgeable team with some of the highest patient and team member satisfaction scores in the hospital. We thrive on teamwork, education, and critical thinking. Our primary patient population is post-procedural cardiac patients such as; ACS, NSTEMI, STEMI, pacemakers, ablations, mitral clips, watchman's, TAVRs, and advanced heart failure. We take a variety of cardiac drips and devices with a fast-paced environment. As a team pride ourselves on working together to take care of the whole patient by participating in multi-disciplinary rounding daily.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
  • Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    • Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
